Who am I?

But I hope you guessed it ; -)
Perhaps you know me and you're asking yourselves
no more questions,
if not, I can specify who I am:
young person,
webdesigner sometime,
professor of Visual art other times,
trainee writer,
dreamer,
and all the rest of my time ...
"Artist" people tell me.
"Ah yes ... Rough art" the scholars tell me.
"New Art, kitsch baroque or vaguely Gothic
influence" specifically
Part of these creations were carried out during
my studies at Arts school of Angers
(where I had my DNAP with mention for the
richness of my work and my DNSEP (master) with the
congratulations of the jury: -))

My recycling
art
My work is a
personnalisation and a new use of various materials,
industrial pieces, plastics, papers and materials.
The real and existing
shapes guide me.
My hands build outgrowths
of reality.
I want to produce useful
and decorative things.
I change scrap heap things
(old newspapers, dolls, cloths) into precious things,
I prefer pulp paper. In the
past, when the plastic didn't exist, until the middle of the
XXth century, it was used to do daily things.
The things in contact with
water or fire were built with glass or metal, but all other
things were built in paper. (suitcase, toys, sweets box,
clocks box, ...)
In the famous french castle
of Oiron the golden decoration on the walls and on the
ceiling was built in pulp paper. (there is only one in wood:
the model)

Human and
dragon face to face
I wait a long time before drawing faces, I was
just drawing blurred silhouettes. But my volumes take the
shape of masks,
dolls faces. and later my face
appears in part with pieces of
mirrors. And at the end the body
appears in my painting
clothes, and I add faces on this.
But my favorite body is dragon's supple body.
I can imagine it like I want because he hasn't
got any physical reality.
It's not the dragon with wings and scales, of the
English imaginary like in the Lord of the Rings or Harry
Potter movie. Cross between Angel (In Asia there are
spirits) and Guardian ( of treasure or princesses in
Europe), my baby monsters are smiling guardian- angels which
give an imaginary soul in my work.

This website is a real general store. I will separate all
different forme of my art but each work answers to other
works and they all build my universe, like a curiosity
office.

The
legends' origin
My work builds an imaginary world of which I am a
part (I am a princess -because I m not modest, because of my
name and because there is a princess in all fairy stories)
This imaginary world changes (like all imaginary
world) with my mind and my personal evolution.
The origin of my world travels across the Ys
island legend, or Atlantis and Genesis of various culture
and civilization and disappears in the postapocalyptic
future smog.
Once upon a time in the past, in the future, in a
parallel world, my world...
